Why Blotout Cloud?
Blotout Cloud exists for teams that need their own data platform — not a shared SaaS tenancy. Below are the reasons performance marketers, data teams, and platform engineers choose it.
Single-tenant by design
Section titled “Single-tenant by design”Every customer runs in a dedicated private AWS VPC. Compute (EKS), metadata (RDS), and the S3 data lake are isolated. There are no public database endpoints and no shared multi-tenant warehouse mixing your events with another brand’s.
You control the boundary: deploy into your AWS account (Bring Your Own Cloud) or let Blotout host a dedicated account under its organization.
First-party signals, not another black-box CDP
Section titled “First-party signals, not another black-box CDP”Events are collected on your domain through EdgeTag and the Blotout SDK. The collector URL and App ID are yours. Credentials stay off the client; events land in your landing bucket as Parquet, ready for processing — not locked inside a vendor’s opaque CDP.
That first-party foundation is what marketing platforms need to measure and optimize when third-party cookies and pixel fidelity keep shrinking.
One lake for clickstream, commerce, and ads
Section titled “One lake for clickstream, commerce, and ads”Blotout Cloud unifies:
- Clickstream & commerce events from the SDK
- ELT pipelines via Airbyte (Shopify, Facebook Marketing, Google Ads, TikTok, Recharge, Amazon, and more)
- A semantic layer in Athena/Iceberg (
view_core_events,view_users,view_id_graph,unified_events)
Dashboards, segments, and the MCP server all read the same curated models — so attribution, revenue, and audiences stay consistent.
Analytics without starting from a blank SQL editor
Section titled “Analytics without starting from a blank SQL editor”Pre-built Analytics cover Shopify, Facebook, TikTok, clickstream funnels, and attribution. Data stream lets you inspect live events. You get operational reporting on day one while still owning the underlying lake for custom work.
Close the loop with Audiences
Section titled “Close the loop with Audiences”Build segments from unified event data, then activate them to Meta, Klaviyo, TikTok, and other EdgeTag-connected channels. Suppression, welcome-back, and custom audiences sync on Airflow schedules — from lake to ad platform without a separate reverse-ETL product.
AI that queries your DataLake
Section titled “AI that queries your DataLake”The Cloud MCP Server connects AI clients (such as Claude Desktop) to your Athena lake and connected ad/commerce APIs. Natural language becomes conversion, funnel, attribution, LTV, forecast, and anomaly reports — with optional HTML dashboards and email delivery — under a dedicated Athena workgroup for cost isolation.

Built for operators
Section titled “Built for operators”- Terraform-driven provisioning and upgrades
- Airflow + Airbyte inside your deployment for orchestration and ELT
- Clear data storage standards and schemas for long-term ownership
- Optional Blotout-managed hosting if you do not want to run AWS yourself
When Blotout Cloud is the right choice
Section titled “When Blotout Cloud is the right choice”Choose Blotout Cloud if you need:
- Data residency and isolation that multi-tenant SaaS cannot offer
- First-party collection tied to your EdgeTag domain
- Marketing + commerce + clickstream in one Athena lakehouse
- Activation back to ad and CRM channels from the same platform
- AI / MCP access grounded in your production data
